Your product is ready. Canada has rules about the rest.

We take manufacturers from China and other overseas markets through the work that stands between a finished product and a Canadian sale: certification, labelling, quality standards, distribution, and the online storefront that supports it all.

What we do

Four areas of work. Most clients need all four, in roughly this order, though we are happy to take on one piece where you already have the rest covered.

01

Certification and regulatory approval

Canada rarely accepts a product on the strength of approvals earned elsewhere. We identify every approval your product actually needs, prepare the submissions, work with the accredited testing bodies, and get you to the point where your goods can clear customs and be sold legally.

02

Product design and quality standards

Voltage, connectors, materials, packaging, bilingual labelling, safety markings. We review the product against what North American buyers and regulators expect, then work with your engineering team on the changes before tooling and testing costs are sunk.

03

Distribution networks

Introductions to Canadian distributors, wholesalers and retail buyers who already move products in your category, along with help on pricing, margin structure and the terms Canadian buyers expect to see.

04

E-commerce

A direct sales channel you own: storefront, marketplace listings, payment and shipping into Canadian addresses, and returns handled in a way Canadian customers accept.

Why this is harder than it looks

Most overseas manufacturers we meet have a product that sells well at home and a reasonable assumption that Canada is a smaller version of the United States. It isn't. Certification requirements differ, labelling must satisfy bilingual rules, and a distributor who carries American stock cannot simply extend it across the border.

The cost of finding this out late is real: containers held at the port, a retail listing pulled, or tooling that has to be redone.

We work from Halifax, on the Atlantic coast, where Canada's east-coast container traffic arrives. That puts us close to the customs brokers, testing labs and logistics operators our clients depend on, and in a time zone that overlaps with both Europe and North American business hours.

We act on your side of the table. We are not a freight forwarder or a trading house buying your goods at a discount.
